Mykines
As one of the Faroe Islands’ most popular tourist attractions, the car-free island of Mykines is known for its winsome puffins. The island is home to thousands of these striking birds, giving it the distinction of being one of the most important bird habitats in the North Atlantic.

Streymoy Island

Hvíthamar is a steep mountain ridge between the villages of Gjógv and Funningur. It’s well worth the climb and commands a dramatic view of the narrow, serpentine Funningsfjørður Fjord and the surrounding mountains, famously one of the most beautiful views in the Faroe Islands.
